The design process goes through a specific need part. Is evaluated which it the ideal material and ideal manufacturing process taking into account the characteristics demanded. These prototypes are fully functional so you can perform tests of all kinds and a process of continuous improvement. The design is done keeping in mind that it is easily to manufacture.
Once the final piece design is defined begins the production process design according to the volume and target price desired by the customer. In the case of high volume, the manufacturing process will be high pressure and temp RTM (more about our capabilities in injection RTM click, here). Quionne team is expert on RTM high volumes production. If costumer need to integrate the piece with others to make the final product assembly process and integration with other parts is also designed.
Once design is ready the process cycle times are evaluated, a study of suppliers is carried out and the target price is calculated.
Then the investment is made in machines and moulds needed for the process. And the Quionne team tuned the process reaching optimum product quality and the lowest cost of production possible.
